- Receiving and Transferring merchandise shipped to the Anchorage Distribution Center.
- Properly store merchandise in warehouse locations using order pickers or other devices.
- Assist with inbound or outbound activities as required by the Warehouse Supervisor meeting quality, safety, productivity and operational standards.
- Operating Company Equipment in a safe and courteous manner.
- Communicating with supervisors, and other team members in a professional manner.
- Effectively following company policies and procedures and continually improving efficiencies.
- Keeping work area clean & safe.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Upon job offer, must be able to pass a background check and drug & alcohol test prior to starting employment.
- Lift between lbs. consecutively.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for the entire shift.
- Ability to operate warehouse tools and equipment.

Job DescriptionFurniture Enterprises of Alaska, Inc. is seeking applicants for our Warehouse/Distribution/Delivery Team
Our warehouse is responsible for the receiving, storage and delivery of furniture and mattresses for our 11 local retail stores.
The ability to perform manual tasks, work as a team, and adhere to established processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality is a must.
