    Position Purpose

    The Field Services Lead Technician at Sleep Number plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences with our products. In addition to handling delivery, assembly, and product demonstrations, the Lead Technician is the go-to person for Fulfillment Quality, inventory management, and maintaining the local fleet. They are responsible for training new team members, ensuring high standards of work, and providing support to their colleagues.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Meet the Field Services Technician requirements
    • Train new and existing team members on policies, procedures, and new products/services
    • Manage market inventory and truck maintenance
    • Ensure open lines of communication among team members and supervisors
    • Build relationships with Retail and Supply Chain teams
    • Conduct in-home installation and service visits
    • Assist supervisors in Customer Experience Evaluations
    • Complete daily tasks as assigned

    Position Requirements

    • High School Education or equivalent
    • 2-3 years of customer service experience
    • 1 year of Field Service Technician experience preferred
    • Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license
    • Ability to provide tailored training to team members
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
    • Knowledge of smartphone technology and wireless networks
    • Must be able to follow safety procedures
