    Description
    Design, Write and Commission PLC logic and DAC system application software. Commission test systems both PLC based and Morphee along with integrate subsystems to meet complex testing requirements. Troubleshoot complex problems and develop solutions with appropriate input. Must be able to take charge of projects and drive to completion while working with the project team. Ownership of large complex test systems.

    Job Responsibilities:
    Act as liaison and company representative with customersCommission test cells including:

    setup and troubleshoot test and measurement systemsimplement and tune complex control loopsintegrate auxiliary equipment into test systemsetup monitoring and control of relevant safetiescreate commissioning documentationobtain customer sign-offprovide training on system applications

    Write and implement advanced custom testsMentor less experienced engineersProvide sales technical supportProvide project engineering technical supportHelp desk consultationDevelop and present trainingRequires travelRequired Qualifications:

    Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or equivalent5+ years of experienceUnderstanding of electrical and mechanical processesAble to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics and drawingsUnderstanding of IC Engines and/or Electrification SystemsUnderstanding of instrumentation and electrical practicesThorough knowledge of PC operation, structure, MS Windows, and computer networking requiredPreferred Qualifications:

    Data Acquisition and Control system commissioningStrong troubleshooting experience in electronics, mechanical and softwareAbility to work independently and drive project progressMust possess excellent written and oral communication skills

    Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.

    The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 5-10 pounds.

    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
