HiFyve is hiring a Production Supervisorin the manufacturing industry in Rolla, MO

Salary: $55,000-$70,000

Shift: Both Day Shift and Night Shift required (8am-8pm and 8pm-8am)

Location: Rolla, MO (Relocation Assistance Offered)

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Lead a team of 35+ hourly associates with varying levels of experience and education.
Develop and coach individuals and the team to solve operational issues and achieve performance goals.
Manage area-specific production processes and improvement activities, including meeting daily production goals and executing planned improvements.
Ensure compliance with all company safety, environmental, and housekeeping policies.
Recommend and implement major process or procedure changes to improve production.
Monitor the production process and take corrective measures as needed.
Train workers to adequately perform assigned tasks and ensure equipment safety.
Encourage and aid in the development of employees.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation; technical and problem solving skills
Demonstrated leadership and change management skills
Proven Continuous Improvement experience (CI)
Firm understanding of safety regulations including OSHA, SARA, and HAZWOPER
Ability to complete written and verbal reports legibly and accurately
Experience in the packaging and /or pulp and paper industry is preferred
Experience with automation is preferred
