Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Specialist to join our team. As a Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient medical billing payment posting. Your expertise in medical terminology, coding systems, and medical records will contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

Review and analyze medical payments received. Post accurately what received.
Understanding of EOB, patient copays and insurance denials. Ability to post these details to accounts.
Work with patient to pay their payment and understand their insurance payments
Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies
Conduct audits to identify coding errors and provide feedback for improvement
Stay updated on changes in coding guidelines and regulations
Assist in the development and implementation of billing and posting policies and procedures
Maintain confidentiality of patient information

Skills:

Proficient in medical terminology, coding systems (ICD9, ICD10), and medical records management
Strong knowledge of medical collection systems and processes
Attention to detail and accuracy in coding assignments
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers

Please note that all positions at our organization are paid, including internship positions.

Pay:
$ $19.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
