We are currently seeking a (Senior) Environmental Planning Engineer (m/f/d) for DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH at our locations in Frankfurt (Main), Saarbrücken, Fulda, Kassel, and Koblenz.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing small project teams to create complete environmental plans for medium and largescale planning projects
  • Providing advice to our clients on nature conservation and related procedural issues, as well as on the procurement, financing, and implementation of landscaping measures
  • Conducting public relations activities in coordination with our clients
  • Creating Landscape Management Plans (LMP), environmental screenings, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports, species protection expert reports, Natura 2000 assessments, and Water Framework Directive (WFD) expert reports
  • Conducting biotope type mapping and digitizing the results
  • Managing procurement processes and overseeing externally contracted environmental planning services
  • Assisting the team leader with technical issues and participating in crossfunctional topics in the field of Environmental & Geo-Services for the Central region

Your profile should include:

  • A degree in Landscape/Environmental Planning, Landscape Architecture, Geography, Biology, or a related field, or equivalent education and professional experience
