La Ventana Treatment Programs has been in business since 2007 and we are located in Thousand Oaks. We operate five 6 bed Residential Mental Health Facilities.

We currently have openings on weekends for Saturdays and Sundays for Mental Health Technicians who offer direct care support for clients.

All shifts have openings. Day Shift (8:00 am to 4:30pm)

Swing Shift (4:00 pm to 12:30am) and Noc shift (12:00 midnight to 8:30am)

We offer complete training for the position of Mental Health Technician on how to work with patients with mental health issues.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Supervise, observe and assist clients in milieu both at and away from clinic
• Maintain a safe, clean client environment.
• Completes charting/record for client and documents all pertinent observations, and issues in client chart.
• Performs basic care activities as assigned.
• Supervise and Assist in meal preparation.
• Participates in training, continuing education, and supervisory sessions.
• Performs Medication observation procedures for client self administration of medication
• You will be trained on Crisis intervention and emergency interventions procedures.
• Understand and implement all program policy and procedures
• Perform Disaster Emergency duties per the policies and procedures.
• Check on clinets during nightly rounds to make sure they are doing well.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/director.
• Drives clients to outside activities.
• Reviews client welcome packet with new clients
