Description

As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities to implement behavior support plans and provide direct care.

• Implement behavior support plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote independence
• Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
• Collect data on individual progress and behavior
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and modify treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of services provided Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health is a plus
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to developmental disabilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong analytical skills to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
