LOCATION:
Lakeshore Technical College - Cleveland, Wisconsin

***: Faculty in this position educate students with core knowledge and current developments in the IT networking discipline. Remain well-versed in current industry trends and norms. Engage IT business leaders in a continual pursuit of knowledge for use in the classroom.

Faculty in this role teach the Network Specialist, Cybersecurity, and Manufacturing IT programs.

The role includes, as applicable to these programs, management of classroom technology infrastructure including Windows servers; user accounts; storage space and security; desktop installation and configuration; network wiring; and desktop, user, and network security.

The management of computer lab equipment including desktop systems, laptops, printers, servers, switches, and all aspects of virtualization systems is expected.

The coordination of VMware Education Services including VMware product licensing is required. Teaching/training in high schools, business and industry may be assigned.


Responsible for placing learning first and providing educational experiences for learners in accordance with the mission of the college inclusive of facilitating learning, assessing student performance, as well as instruction and outcomes, developing and maintaining current/relevant course materials and curriculum, working with high school dual credit teachers, and communicating with the community, other schools, the college, the division, and team members.

Teaching/training in business and industry may be assigned.

Provide high quality customer service throughout all interactions.

This includes but is not limited to:

work effectively and positively with people from all backgrounds; help the customer find solutions; anticipate needs, and follow-up with the customer.

Provide friendly, respectful, personalized experiences throughout every interaction.


_ This is a year-round position serving, on average, 40 hours per week. During assigned instructional terms, or semesters, 60% of the week is designated for students contact time, or teaching, and 40% for professional expectations, as outlined below. _
