Trusts & Estates Paralegal - Primary focus on Estate Administrations & Probates
Danna & Associates, P.C., is a boutique elder law and estate planning firm located in Staten Island, New York, in business for over 30 years.
The Trusts & Estates Team
is in search of an experience Paralegal with a positive, flexible attitude to assist multiple attorneys. You will thrive in this role if you have significant hands-on experience in New York, New Jersey, or Florida estate administration.
It is important to note, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory. This position requires regular preparation of informal and formal accountings, and estate analysis across multiple matters.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Minimum 3+ years of New York estate administration experience required.
Working knowledge of Surrogate's Court procedures and e-filing.
Experience preparing fiduciary accountings strongly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
Self-directed, proactive, and deadline-driven.
Experience with real estate transfers or Medicaid-related matters is a plus.
Notary Public certification preferred.
Legal software training
The Qualifications we are looking for:
Minimum 1+ years of New York estate administration experience required
Working knowledge of Surrogate's Court procedures and e-filing
Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and financial modeling
Experience preparing fiduciary accountings strongly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously

Experience with taxable estates, trust administration, real estate transfers, or Medicaid-related matters is a plus.
Notary Public certification preferred, not required
