Description
Freeport is looking for a candidate to join our team as a Token Management Platform Developer.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously integrating and delivering software modules (such as microservices, components, and application elements) across all architecture levels.

You will also be involved in development tasks throughout the entire software lifecycle in cross-functional teams, including conducting code reviews.

Additionally, you will be responsible for integrating the platform into the BWI system landscape and/or its customers' systems.


We are looking for someone with expert knowledge in modern software development, including Java, related frameworks, React, and database systems.

You will also be expected to provide input for optimizing team collaboration and working with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science or a related field, at least 5 years of relevant work experience in software engineering (e.g. software design and architecture, middleware, Java), and practical experience in a DevOps environment. Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot, as well as frontend development with React, is required. Knowledge of cryptography, workflow engines, and databases (such as MongoDb and PostgreSQL) is also important.


Proficiency in professional software development standards (such as Clean Code, Design Patterns, and Architecture) and experience with GitLab and Confluence/Jira is expected.

You should also have a customer-oriented mindset and enjoy working closely with an agile team. Fluency in both German and English is required.
