The Program Coordinator is a full-time non-exempt position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Under the direction of the Program Manager, responsible for day-to-day coordination of CityTeam Turning Point Women's Residential Program, including supervision and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Schedule and facilitate CityTeam's supplemental program components, including discipleship, Bible studies, life-skills, and recreational programs.
  • Meet with residents for weekly Case Management.
  • Provide supervision and accountability for residents in all areas of the program, including general behavior, discipline, passes, UA as necessary, job placements, training, and evaluations.
  • Coordinate transportation for residents; may occasionally drive them to and from appointments.
  • Utilize effective mentoring strategies to encourage spiritual growth for residents.
  • Collaborate with other agencies to coordinate appropriate services and transfer flow for all the women receiving services.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date record keeping and provide reports as necessary.
  • Quickly evaluate a crisis situation and respond appropriately.
  • Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and intelligently delegate.
  • Maintain an environment that is conducive to building trust and unity as well as high motivation and achievement while maintaining healthy boundaries.
  • Advocate for CityTeam with those in your circles of influence.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned by the Program Manager.

Requirements:


Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Administrative experience
  • Minimum 2years' experience working in homeless services
  • Computer literate and proficiency with Microsoft Suite and G-Suite
  • Professional written and spoken communication skills
  • Valid PA driver's license with a clean record

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Case Management experience
  • Previous internship or work experience at a residential group program
  • Previous life experience or educational background with residential programs, case management, etc.
  • Customer service experience
  • Familiarity with CityTeam's mission and core values
  • Experience leading interactive process group therapy sessions
  • Experience working in a nonprofit environment

Physical Demands

  • Stand or sit for prolonged amounts of time
  • Walk, bend, twist, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Regularly walk up and down stairs
  • Talk and hear
  • Frequently lift and move up to 20 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Finger and hand dexterity to feel, handle, and operate objects, tools or controls, and to reach with hands and arms

Work Conditions

  • This job regularly operates in a residential program environment
  • Days and hours will vary, depending on ministry needs
  • Typical days and hours will be Tuesdays 10

30 pm, W-F 1:

30 pm

  • This role regularly uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
  • This role will occasionally need to maneuver in tight quarters amongst donations, rolling racks, shelving, storage containers, stacked boxes, and a conveyer belt

Additional Eligibility Qualifications for CityTeam Ministries

  • Must have an intimate, personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Must be active in a local Christian body of believers or at least pursuing community with other Christfollowers
  • Must have compatible theology on major issues of CityTeam's Statement of Faith
  • Must be committed to serving God and the body of Christ
