    We're lookingfor passionate engineer with background in mechanical design to join theLarge Gas Turbine Combustion Design team as design engineer for allcombustion system developments. As the design engineer you would beintimately involved in development of various parts of the combustion system.You would interact with the combustion aerodynamic, procurement and manufacturingteam and be a part of the integrated project team working on the design ofnew combustion systems..

    How You'll Make an Impact

    • Designof the latest combustion hardware contributing to the decarbonizationgoals of Siemens Energy
    • Developmentof the latest combustion system utilizing the latest manufacturingtechniques both conventional and additive.
    • Communicateand work effectively with manufacturing and service engineeringcolleagues on process improvements and new product development andintroduction

    What You Bring

    • BSin Mechanical Engineering or related field is required
    • Newgraduates are encouraged to apply. Those with greater experience may beconsidered for a higher level
    • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals in machinedesign.
    • Abilityto create complex drawings and specifications, including a solidunderstanding of GD&T
    • Applicantsmust be legally authorized for employment in the United States withoutneed for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.Current SE employees with existing visa sponsorship may beeligible for visa transfer.

    What You Preferably Bring

    • MSin Mechanical Engineering or related field
    • Experiencein design of mechanical components.
    • Goodpresentation and collaboration skills.
    • Experiencewith Siemens NX CAD,ANSYS, Teamcenter & SAP

    Aboutthe Team

    Throughour Generation division, we enhance and innovate conventional and renewablepower supply. Currently, we're reducing carbon emissions of existing assetsand developing technologies that transform power generation applications.

    Specifically, Combustion Component Manufacturing is responsible forthe manufacture of transition ducts and combustor baskets primarily, that produceand deliver the hot gas into the 1 st turbine stage of the gas turbine.

    Wework closely with combustion design engineering on the development ofcutting-edge technology which is evident in the newly released 9000HL gasturbine with both 50 Hz and 60 Hz variants.
