Description

The Executive Director reports to the Regional Director of Operations and will provide leadership to the community team at this property.

The Executive Director will be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the community.

:


  • Strategic planning, short
- and long-term projects

  • Establish goals and objectives for managers and review
  • Be customer service focused at the community; set the example
  • Attend meetings improvement projects and first impressions of community
  • Work with budget and financials and understand revenue, AR, Labor, Sales Pipeline, etc.
  • Daily walkaround and inspection of all operations.
  • Ensure our culture of exceptional service is implemented
  • Coordinate and lead managers/employee meeting
  • Review annual Budget processes and maintain monthly spenddowns
  • Monitor all Employee Recognition programs
  • Stay sales leads and conduct contract signings

Minimum skills, experience, education, and ability for this job:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality or related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of hospitality management/senior living level position at a fullservice resort conference lodge, or senior living community.
  • Ability to cope with numerous, staff, residents, families, vendors, and understanding corporate acumen is needed.
  • Ability to problemsolve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with residents/families and staff, including management, subordinates, and coworkers.
  • Proven organizational skills with excellent written and oral skills required.
  • Able to provide leadership to a broad section of individuals and provide a positive and motivating environment.
  • Knowledge of operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, Cap X plans, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, and the development of longrange planning.
  • Leadership and sharing of your skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure the accomplishment of goals. Do everything in your power to make your team successful.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with management and staffbeing persuasive, clear, and to the point. Written communication skills to be concise, well organized, complete, clear, and understandable in order to formulate complex reports and communicate with the public, staff, and corporate office.
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.

Physical Requirements:


  • Able to use computer keyboard
  • Ability to move throughout premises and visually inspect conditions including bending, stooping, and reaching arms overhead.
