    Description

    As technology keeps evolving, the field of electronic warfare (EW) becomes more crucial for ensuring national security. The Leidos EW division in Arlington, VA, is in need of a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join their team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Leading software projects in collaboration with diverse teams, involving signal processing, firmware, software, and systems engineering professionals. These projects typically consist of two to six software engineers.

    • Coordinating project activities with the program manager, chief engineer/principal investigator, line management, and leads from other teams.

    • Engaging with customers and fellow contractors to provide updates and ensure smooth program execution.

    • Creating and documenting software architecture and design for various projects.

    • Developing, documenting, testing, and integrating real-time software solutions from concept to field testing.

    • Supporting business growth and marketing efforts by contributing to proposal development, breaking down requirements into Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs), and preparing Basis of Estimates (BOEs).

    Qualifications:

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

    • Must hold a TOP SECRET Clearance.

    • Minimum of 12 years of experience in software engineering.

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.

    • At least 6 years of experience in software development and testing using C++.

    • 3+ years of experience in real-time/embedded software development for signal processing systems.

    • Proficiency in integration and testing methodologies and technologies.

    • Familiarity with programming languages like MATLAB, Python, or similar.

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

    • Experience in understanding and debugging real-time/embedded C++ code.

    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $122, $220,900.00
