Annual salary range will be between $52,000 to $75,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a diverse range of heavy equipment including skidsteers, loaders, haul trucks, material handlers, and ship cranes.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials such as stone, gravel, and salt from barges.
- Participate in the offloading process of cargo ships arriving at the port.
- Perform general laborer tasks to support special projects and daytoday maintenance operations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Report any equipment defects or repairs to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure all duties are carried out in compliance with safety and security standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 24 Years of Heavy Equipment Operation Experience.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to lift 50 LBS. and pass a preemployment physical assessment and drug test.
- Periodic travel is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or vocational training in a closely related field.
- 10 hour OSHA Construction Safety Training.
- MSHA Training
- Mechanically inclined.
