POSITION GOAL

To develop and originate school bus routes, schedules, reports, studies and surveys as may be required in the operation of the Pupil Transportation Department.

ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
An earned associate degree from an accredited institution.

A minimum of four (4) years of experience and/or training in the field related to the title of the position.

OR
Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program.

A minimum of six (6) years of experience and/or training in the field related to the title of the position.


AND
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Computer skills as required for the position. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
An earned bachelor's degree in education, computer science, business, traffic, or related field.
Prior work experience in a school district transportation department or other related field.
Knowledge of computer operating systems utilized in transportation scheduling.
Bilingual skills. SIGNIFICANT CONTACTS-frequency, contact, purpose

On a daily basis works with personnel throughout Transportation Services to prepare and update safe, dependable, and efficient transportation routes within predetermined framework.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Light work:

Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as needed to move objects.

Broward Teachers Union - Technical Support Professional (BTU-TSP)
Pay Grade 22 - $59,396 - $85,051
