- Designs, implements, and administers VMware and Storage Area Network (SAN) solutions.
- Responsible for regular audits of the backup environment to ensure data is protected.
- Responsible for that patching of server systems and related hardware.
- Serves as the highest technical escalation point for systems and related technologies.
- Lead in capacity planning, system design and optimization.
- Research, design, and implement technologies that integrate into our current infrastructure with the goal of increasing efficiency and improving reliability.
- Architects and administers file server permissions and structures.
- Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving various tickets assigned or escalated in the ITSM tool.
- Architects and integrates on-prem and cloud based identity stores.
- Works with the Information Systems Security Manager to implement new security technologies.
- Works closely with the Information Systems Security Manager to triage new cyber security threats and take necessary action.
- Manages server and SAN hardware maintenance support contracts.
- Acts as a point person for vendor support relationships.

One of our amazing local clients in Lakewood, Colorado is seeking a Windows System Engineer for a full-time, direct hire position. This position reports to the Operations Manager and participates on a nine-person team responsible for designing, administering, and supporting the Windows server environments, including on-premises and virtual.
This Engineer would be onsite every day for the first six months, with greater hybrid flexibility afterwards. Some On-Call required.
