Description

Function:


Responsible for enhancing the planning process by implementing good practices and ensuring processes adhere to department goals and objectives, while maintaining controls and documentation and records.


Essential Duties and Competencies:


Planning Clerk

  • Provides assistance to operational team through data analysis and data entry.
- maintains and updates the RA (Russell Adams) system
- assist in printing & scheduling of work orders and task cards
- work with Operations to establish schedules and plans to ensure parts are provided according to maintenance needs
- responsible for shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions
- monitors inventory
- accountable for order processing, material requirements, and maintaining systems to balance the demand and supply of parts
- oversee and responsible for stock room


Document Clerk

  • Classify, file, audit, receive, distribute, track and maintain company documents according to the Company procedures and the Federal Aviation Regulations. Coordinate the process of storage and retrieval of regulatory archival documents. Identify and resolve routine problems.
- monitors the Company's overall Document Control System
- reviews, updates, and revises controlled documents as required, instructed, and approved by the Quality Manager
- provides recommendations on work plans, methods, and techniques for obtaining results
- completion of task cards
- prepares and assist in reports

Establishes and maintains safety operations by adhering to procedures and policies
.
Completes housekeeping around work areas as assigned.

Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Education/Experience:

Degree in Engineering, Avionics or related fields or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years of Planner and/or Document Control.


Certificate(s):

No certificates needed.


Job Qualifications:

Knowledge of flight operations, aeronautical publication, FFA, aeronautical publication and company policies and procedures.

Knowledge of documentation standards and systems.

Effectively communicate both verbal and written.

Ability to analyze work processes and evaluate documents.

Good interpersonal skills

Intermediate level proficiency of MS office Applications.
