    Regional Procurement Director BSP Americas
    We are seeking ahighly skilled and strategic Regional Procurement Director to oversee ourprocurement operations across the Americas region. The successful candidatewill be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies thatdrive cost savings, efficiency improvements, and supplier relationshipmanagement. YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    StrategyDevelopment:
    Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with overall businessobjectives and Americas region-specific requirements.

    Desirable knowledge and networks withinchemicals industry, and preferably strong experience to develop categorystrategies and drive savings in indirect procurement categories in the areas oftransportation, 3PL warehousing, Capex.


    SupplierManagement:
    Buildand maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, andensure compliance with agreements and performance metrics.

    Cost SavingsInitiatives:
    Identifyopportunities for cost reduction, value creation, and process optimizationwithin the procurement function.

    Risk Management:
    Assess and mitigate procurement risks,including supply chain disruptions, price volatility, and regulatorycompliance.

    Team Leadership:

    Set up, lead and mentor a team of procurementprofessionals across the Americas region, fostering a culture of collaboration,accountability, and continuous improvement.


    Cross-FunctionalCollaboration:
    Collaboratewith internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and legal, to ensurealignment and support for procurement initiatives.

    Market Analysis:
    Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities,and industry best practices to inform procurement strategy and decision-making.

    PerformanceMonitoring:
    Establish KPIs andmetrics to track procurement performance, identify areas for improvement, anddrive accountability.

    Compliance andEthics:
    Ensure compliance withrelevant laws, regulations, and company policies, promoting ethical conduct andintegrity in all procurement activities.

    ContinuousImprovement:

    Strong on procurement processes andable to understand across key aspects of Supply Chain including Planning,Logistics, Warehousing and drive process improvements and simplification.

    Drive continuous improvement initiatives withinthe procurement function, leveraging technology, process optimization, and bestpractices.


    YOUR PROFILE
    Bachelor's degree inbusiness, supply chain management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degreepreferred.
    Proven work experiencein procurement leadership roles, preferably within a multinational corporationor global organization and ideally within chemicals/ingredients industry.
    Deep understanding ofprocurement best practices, market dynamics, and supply chain managementprinciples.
    Strong negotiationskills, with a track record of achieving cost savings and value creationthrough supplier relationships.
    Excellent leadershipand team management abilities, with a focus on coaching, development, andempowerment.
    Strategic thinker withthe ability to translate business objectives into actionable procurementstrategies.
    Analytical mindset,with proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and performance metrics.
    Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influencestakeholders at all levels of the organization.
