Job Requirements and Areas of Responsibility:
- Overall responsibility for the kitchen's daily operations.
- Liaising with the contracted companies for food orders.
- Interviewing and hiring new kitchen staff.
- Maintaining /raising the food's profit margins.
- Controlling the BOH labor cost.
- Monitoring and controlling stock levels.
- Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed.
- Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen.
- Monthly pricing audits using your invoices.
- Completing weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly inventory.
- Completing the business system to organize the restaurants financials.
- Completing the purchase log report
- Completing inventory sheet, Maintaining the menu cost analysis, updating pricing quarterly.
- Creating the kitchen schedule using forecasted sales projections.
- Maintaining food quality and plate presentation standards
