    Description


    A rapidly growing, multi-divisional company headquartered in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with services supporting all of Clark's distribution methods in the food service industry.

    Sr.

    Global Sourcing Managers are responsible for supplier evaluation and qualification, supplier relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration with vendor and category teams in procurement.

    This position is full-time and located in Lancaster, PA, but is hybrid-friendly, at manager's discretion, for those within a 1-hour driving radius.

    Global Sourcing Analysts serve Clark's procurement division, which buys products for our various distribution channels (industry leading Ecommerce platform

    , The Restaurant Stores, Clark National Accounts, Clark Food Service Equipment, and 11400, Inc.). In 2023, we reached $3.6B in sales from a catalog of 450K+ SKUs.
    Job Responsibilities
    Conducting thorough market research to identify potential manufacturers abroad whose products align with the specific needs and requirements of Clark's procurement department
    Support different category and vendor teams on sourcing projects as needed

    Engaging in negotiations with international manufacturers to secure favorable pricing, maintain high product quality standards, and establish mutually beneficial terms and conditions.

    This may include negotiating bulk discounts, delivery schedules, payment terms, and other contractual agreements to optimize value for Clark
    Performing comprehensive assessments of potential new supplier's business practices, product quality, compliance with regulations and social responsibility initiatives assessment. This helps ensure that Clark partners with reputable suppliers who adhere to ethical and sustainable business practices
    Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships to facilitate smooth and efficient production processes. This includes providing clear specifications, addressing any concerns or issues that arise, and monitoring production progress to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
    Attending trade shows and factory visits as needed. These activities provide valuable insights into market dynamics, product innovations, and emerging opportunities for Clark's sourcing initiatives
    Train and mentor junior level team members to develop their skills and expertise in international sourcing and procurement. This includes sharing knowledge, providing hands-on training and offering constructive feedback to help them grow professionally.
    Ensuring key target metrics are achieved including import vendor performance, source diversification, cost savings, and supplier quality ratings.
    Skills & Requirements
    Ability to conduct detailed research
    Strong data reporting and analysis skills
    Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
    Clear and effective communication
    Strong computer skills; emphasis in Excel
    Business Proficiency in English is required
    Communicate effectively with vendors in Mandarin and Vietnamese

    Global Sourcing Analysts frequently have education in International Business, Business Management, Supply Chain, Business Logistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Marketing, or a related field.

    Strong product, global trade, business and industry knowledge
