- Develop reporting methods to evaluate success or failure of inventory management strategies
- Write, update, and troubleshoot queries to pull data from multiple sources
- Develop understanding of the challenges encountered by the department and leverage this understanding to identify and address both existing and emerging reporting and analytical issues.
- Extract informative insight from data and recommend specific actions
- Build and maintain complex data models in Power BI desktop
- Perform ad hoc analysis as requested by team members
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with reporting software for sharing analysis (Power BI and Excel)
- Proven ability to quickly adapt to changing environments, learn, and apply new skills to complex problems
- Familiarity with statistical programs (Python preferred, R and Matlab acceptable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to translate technical processes to non-experts Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics or a highly quantitative field or 1+ years experience with a data, research, procurement or ecommerce

Clark associates, the largest and fastest growing foodservice equipment and supplies dealer in the USA, utilizes over 20 national distribution centers to deliver 70k+ products to customers within 1-2 business days. Managing inventory across all distribution centers is an increasingly complex task that requires innovative problem solving.
In this role you will join our Augmented Inventory Management team, a small but rapidly expanding group of analytically driven professionals. You will be instrumental in evaluating transformative changes, crafting insightful reports, and offering analytical support. Your efforts will directly contribute to empowering the procurement department to take advantage of scalable inventory management innovations as our distribution network increase in complexity.
