Description

Job Title: Laboratory Analyst

Company: Eurofins Environment Testing (USA)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Apply GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
Demonstrate and promote the company vision
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
Utilize computer skills for accessing information, performing complex mathematical calculations, and preparing reports
Set up, optimize, and calibrate ICP/ICP-MS/CVAA independently
Analyze samples autonomously
Review, evaluate, calculate, and verify data as needed
Document data following SOPs
Conduct instrument troubleshooting
Perform non-routine analyses with limited supervision
Conduct quantitative transfer and dilutions
Understand the principles of instruments used for assigned tasks
Communicate effectively with coworkers through written and oral means
Evaluate current analytical system performance and recommend/implement improvements for enhanced quality and productivity
Maintain ICP/ICP-MS/CVAA instrumentation
Assist in updating SOPs as required for compliance
Perform IDL, IEC, linear range, andMDL determinations
Keep individual training records updated
Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner
Execute other duties as assigned

Role is Monday-Friday, 1st shift. Training will be during the same hours.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience may substitute for a degree
Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Ideal Candidates will have:

Some related experience with inductively coupled plasma techniques (ICP and ICP-MS)/atomic absorption techniques
Previous lab experience

Additional Information

Pay Range: $18-20/hour

Please note - Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
