    Position Overview:Edgesource is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team in support of a USG client located in the Chantilly, VA area. As part of our talented group of developers, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing a variety of systems. Our team is currently focused on the containerization of a large Service Bus architecture. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our mission-critical systems. This position requires a TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance and that all work be performed full-time / onsite at the client facility.

    Job Duties:
    • Work in a small team in a contractor SCIF to design and test microservices developed in Python
    • Build Docker containers to host microservices
    • Build Helm Charts to control runtime cloud configurations
    • Work with GitLab to maintain source code and CI/CD pipelines
    • Gather and analyzed evolving requirements
    Required Qualifications:
    • Software Development Experience: 10 years w/Bachelors or 14 years
    • Experience with building microservices with Python
    Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED):
    • Software Development Experience in several of the following:
      • Web Service integrations (REST, SOAP, OpenAPI)
      • Docker containers
      • Pydantic
      • Pytest
      • Redis
      • FastAPI
      • Helm Charts
      • Kubernetes
