Position Summary


Reporting to the Dean of the School of Education, and under general supervision, the Coordinator of Academic Operations will coordinate, oversee, and perform a wide variety of administrative support activities for the SOE.

This position is responsible for providing confidential administrative and operational duties, managing budget transactions and personnel compensation and contracts, providing budget analysis, maintaining records, drafting reports, tracking program processes and information, and providing lead assistance for systems work, collaboration, and integration with other university entities and offices.

This is a full-time, forty hours per week position.


Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintains and completes annual/monthly budget requests and reports
  • Completes and manages all FLAC (university pay system) data, inputs and outputs, instructor "load weight" management, etc.
  • Executes and oversees all account receivables/payablesbasically any billing matters and financial purchases of SOE
  • Works to help oversee management of systems work with Registrar, Academic, & President's Offices
  • Serves Dean in other duties, daily assignments, and projects as assigned by Dean (e.g. maintaining "merch" stockpiles, setting up car rentals, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned by Dean

  • Excellent communication skills (written and interpersonal)
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, solution oriented and ability to prioritize responsibilities
  • Works well as a member of a collaborative team
  • Ability to deal with interruptions and work in a fast
- paced office environment

  • Knowledge and skill in use of computers and software common to the academic setting
  • Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)

Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. The starting wage may be determined upon education and/or experience.
