We are currently seeking a

Teacher, Youth Care Worker or Special Needs Educator (m/f/d)
50% part-time, permanent position
for our residential group in Centerton, IN.

The Sonnenhof supports individuals with special needs.

Our goal is to promote and accompany these individuals in a way that strengthens them as independent personalities and allows them to live as self-determined as possible.

It is important to us to achieve a high quality of life for those with special needs through joint effort, dedication and goal-oriented work.

We are a residential group of eight male adolescents, aged 14 to school graduation, with low to moderate care needs.

We live in a beautifully designed house with a large garden in a new housing development. Our residents are mostly independent and mobile, have diverse interests and enjoy shared activities and outings. As we are self-sufficient, we plan our own meals, buy what we need and cook together. We also take care of our own laundry.

Profile:

You have completed training as a teacher, youth care worker or special needs educator (m/f/d), have a good understanding of young adolescents and enjoy supporting and promoting their independence within the residential group and in their social environment.

Your demeanor and communication are open and friendly, but also clear when necessary.

If you are a positive person who likes to go through the day with humor and fun, you will feel very comfortable in this group.
