Starting on April 1st, 2023, 35 hours/week:

  • and promoting children's participation and co-determination. In this sense, the German Children's Fund focuses on creating equal opportunities for all children in Germany. Our political work aims for the full implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child in Germany, which includes children's participation, as well as their interests in legislative and administrative measures, and the equal social participation of all children.


To support our work in the competence network,
we are looking for reinforcements for our team starting on April 1st, 2023.

The position is a parental leave replacement and is limited until June 30th, 2024, with a weekly working time of 35 hours.

Your tasks include:


  • Collaboration in further establishing the competence network in the field of children's rights and democracy education in early childhood education.
  • Independent development of professional positions, as well as planning and implementation of measures in the field of early childhood democracy education with a focus on children's rights.
  • Conception and implementation of workshops and lectures on children's rights and democracy education in early childhood education
