Join our dynamic team at GuildCare, Lighthouse Guild's innovative community-based Adult Day Health Care Program aimed at supporting adults who are blind or visually impaired with chronic healthcare needs.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    High School Diploma with at least 2 years of clerical experience (Associate's degree preferred). Strong customer service skills, computer proficiency, especially in Excel, and excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal abilities are essential.

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly client attendance records.
    • Enter daily billing into the billing system and ensure timely completion of billing certifications.
    • Coordinate and arrange client transportation, acting as the liaison between the transportation vendor and the program, including client scheduling and certification within the MAS system.
    • Serve as Petty Cash Custodian.
    • Keep updated and accurate contact information for staff and clients.
    • Support the Program Director with monthly eligibility checks for current and newly enrolled clients.
    • Assist in obtaining and maintaining confidential staff records.
    • Order, receive, and restock supplies; maintain departmental equipment.
    • Handle Kronos editing and prepare timecards for approval.
    • Maintain essential lists/forms, including admission/discharge rosters, attendance lists, active registrant lists, and emergency contact lists.
    • Collaborate with other GuildCare staff to perform general assistance tasks as assigned by the Program Director.
    • Adhere to established agency, departmental, and program policies and procedures.
    • Schedule appointments, take meeting minutes, and maintain electronic in-service files.
    • Manage new admissions data entry and discharges in the EMR system.
    • Observe and implement the registrants' Bill of Rights.
    • Collect and maintain referral information.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director.

    ADA REQUIREMENTS:

    • Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for several hours.
    • Ability to communicate on a telephone and cell phone.
    • Ability to stand at a photocopy and FAX machine.
    • Ability to move throughout the office.
