DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Establishes and maintains community liaison and promotes department programs among various community groups. Entertains suggestions from civic groups and apprises management of issues, concerns and needs.

Oversee daytoday activities of Project Milestone program
Support monthly audits and quality assurance checks to ensure proper implementation of Project Milestone activities among Health Centers and WIC sites.
Assist Senior Community Outreach Coordinator with policy updates and communication for the Project Milestone program
Conduct presentations to nongovernmental agencies regarding the awareness of immunizations, general topics discussed include: children and adult immunizations, seasonal flu, and HPV
Prepare and edit presentations for management.
Perform other special projects as directed

WORKING CONDITIONS
The position is physically comfortable, the individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration or a closely related field.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Two (2) years of experience in developing and coordinating community programs or a closely related field are required.
