- Graduate of an accredited associate or bachelor's degree in Nursing
- State licensed RN
- Previous experience in hospice/home care setting and with two (2) years management or supervisory experience. Proven ability to work within an interdisciplinary setting.
- Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.
- Excellent observation, good nursing judgement and communication skills. Understands hospice philosophy and issues of death/dying.
- Understands principles of pain/symptom management.
- Strong interpersonal, time management, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent educating/training skills.
- Ability to prioritize and be flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Experience with Hospice and/or Home Health Electronic Medical Records / EMR Software is preferred

POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Clinical Services (DCS) is responsible for the overall direction of hospice clinical services.
