    Salary Range For This Position Is $40,000 - $45,000. Salary Range Is Based On Experience And Education Levels.

    A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Clinical Services Assistant

    This entry-level role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless operation of Clinical Services. Responsibilities include the performance of pre- and post-analytical sorting of specimens, and facilitating their distribution to designated areas. Furthermore, the individual will provide invaluable assistance with record-keeping tasks, including filing and scanning documents. A primary focus of this position involves handling incoming specimen shipments from diverse sources, such as pathology laboratories, hospitals, and clinics. This entails meticulously matching specimens with relevant documents and executing specimen return procedures upon completion of testing. Additionally, the role entails accurately inputting records into appropriate systems as necessary.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • High school diploma or equivalent required, and at least 1 year of experience in a laboratory or clinical setting preferred.
    • Actively display characteristics that support the mission, vision, and values of Castle Bioscience.

    Technical Skills

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record information.
    • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Experience following and/or developing Standard Operation Procedures
    • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills
