    Job Summary

    The Experience Design (XD) Engineering team is looking for an iOS or Android engineer to help drive our prototypes and UI component libraries forward.

    This role is to support our Entertainment vertical. About the Team The XD Engineering team bridges the gap between design and development.

    • Work across all verticals
    • Utilize same code frameworks as product
    • Vet and iterate design decisions
    • Create tangible prototypes for senior leadership
    • Solve edge-cases before handing to production
    • Build internal tools to increase XD productivity
    • Build for user testing to improve products
    • Contribute code to make user experience a priority We build experiences and develop with a design agenda. Our goal is to create beautiful and intuitive products that put the user journey first. The team can iterate on the future or deliver in product.
    Job Description
    Responsibilities
    Being able to take direction from project lead
    Ability to work solo or with a team
    Collaborating with designers
    Developing beautiful and intuitive experiences that can be used for:
    Vetting design decisions
    User research and testing
    Executive demos
    Requirements
    3+ years of software development experience
    1+ years of iOS or Android app development experience
    Experience with UIKit and SwiftUI or Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
    Proven ability to collaborate and iterate with UI/UX product designers
    Past experience working with Figma, Sketch, or Photoshop files
    Passion for design and attention to detail
    Experience building and debugging complex systems in a team environment
    Strong communication and organizational skills
    A self-starter, looking to help out
    Highly adaptable

    Education
    Bachelor's Degree

    While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
