- EPIC billing experience is a must - candidates with EPIC billing background are preferred
Experience with Epic OpTime, OR Billing, and GI billing are highly valued. The role may lead to a permanent position! - Accurately enter daily charges for procedures in various locations
Validate charge sheets against performed cases, review EPIC reports, and ensure proper charges are triggered. - Retrieve reports from EPIC daily and maintain organized filing system
Identify and resolve problems independently, collaborating with relevant departments for corrections. - Work with Revenue Integrity and Supply Chain to maintain accurate inventory pricing
Identify cost recovery and reduction strategies, analyze billing reports, and recommend system improvements. - Serve as a billing resource, providing training for new staff, entering requisitions, and coordinating deliveries
- Act as a backup for department personnel and provide front office coverage when needed
- EPIC billing experience is mandatory, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Customer service-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information
