We are looking for a nurse with a passion for working with depressed or anxious individuals, an interest in or curiosity about psychedelic medicine, a desire to learn and grow with the evolving field of interventional psychiatry, and a calm, patient demeanor.

Core responsibilities of the Nurse will be performing IV ketamine infusions to patients according to a written protocol and under the supervision of our psychiatrist while ensuring that treatment is performed in a safe, comfortable, and serene environment.

Nurse will also be responsible for managing all communication with patients between infusions.


Responsibilities:

• Administer low dose ketamine infusions for patients with treatmentresistant depression or anxiety according to MDdirected protocols
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior to supervising physician
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Facilitate patient alliance and provide emotional support to patients during infusions
• Maintain an inventory and order supplies needed for infusions
• Return phone calls to patients, authorize prescription refills, and complete prior authorization paperwork when needed to support office staff
• Administer IM injections of longacting antipsychotic medications, when needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in nursing, including IV infusions
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing
• An active, unrestricted license to practice in the State of Texas
• BLS certification
• Thoughtful attention to detail
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• A caring and comforting demeanor and passion for changing the lives of patients with treatmentresistant disorders
• Ability to work independently
