Full Job Description
The Installation Technician (IT) installs low-voltage commercial audio, video and lighting systems.

Job responsibilities include installing LCD/ DLP video projection systems, touch panels, and speakers (ranging from ceiling mounted to clusters); pulling and terminating cables; and harnessing racks, patch bays and mixing consoles.

Accutek maintains high standards for quality of work and safety; therefore, every Tech will obtain OSHA 10 certification before going out into the field.

Accutek also provides opportunities for additional training and development.

Qualifications:

Experience in AV, telecommunications, construction, or related industry
Proficient in using basic hand and power tools
Ability to travel less than 15% including overnight travel
Ability to comfortably work at heights on lifts, ladders, and/or scaffolding
Ability to lift to 40 lbs
Valid drivers license with a good driving record
Ability to solder and crimp connectors (XLR, RJ45, TRS, BNC and F-CONN)
Comfortable working in a construction environment (wearing PPE, dusty/unclean workspace, lack of climate control)
