Description

DSJ Global is partnered with a leading company in the Aerospace industry. They are looking to add a Quality Engineer to join the team in the Greater Seattle, Washington area. This role will primarily be responsible for overseeing the product and manufacturing development process. Along with the development and improvement of the quality control and assurance process.

Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing quality control procedures: You will design and implement procedures to ensure that our aerospace components and systems meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Conducting quality inspections:

You will perform inspections and audits of materials, processes, and finished products to identify defects, deviations, and areas for improvement.

Analyzing data and implementing corrective actions: You will collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas of concern.

Based on your analysis, you will work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and reliability.

Supplier quality management:

You will work closely with suppliers to ensure that the materials and components they provide meet our quality standards.

This may involve conducting supplier audits, reviewing supplier quality documentation, and implementing improvement initiatives.

Root cause analysis and problem-solving: When quality issues arise, you will lead investigations to identify the root causes of problems and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence.

Documentation and reporting:
You will maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken

Continuous improvement:
You will actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency throughout the organization

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
3 + years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry
Strong knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and techniques
Familiarity with aerospace regulations and standards (e.g., AS9100, FAA regulations).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in quality
