Purchaser (m/f/d) - Operational Procurement

Your responsibilities include:

You will be responsible for the entire procurement process of defined product categories
This includes processing purchase requests in the ERP system, creating inquiries, obtaining quotes, and conducting quote comparisons
You will assist in the international selection, evaluation, approval, and development of suppliers
Negotiating prices and achieving cost savings through partnershipbased approaches is also part of your job description
You will maintain master data in the ERP system within your area of responsibility and strive to optimize processes in our purchasing department
Together with the purchasing management, you will determine the supplier strategy for your area of responsibility and actively implement it
This interesting area of responsibility is complemented by your participation in crossdepartmental projects

What you bring:

Completed degree in business administration or engineering; alternatively, a completed commercial or technical training with relevant professional experience
Purchasing experience, preferably in a metal processing production company
Negotiation skills and a confident demeanor combined with assertiveness
Good knowledge of ERP systems and technical understanding are
