Lead Counsel, Regulatory Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement strategy for managing and resolving regulatory inquiries and investigations
  • Conduct detailed internal investigations in connection with regulatory inquiries and investigations
  • Represent the company in connection with regulatory inquiries and disputes, including supervision of outside counsel
  • Collaborate with product, public policy and communications teams to develop and implement regulatory and policy strategy on important and breaking issues

Minimum Qualifications:


  • J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
  • 5+ years of attorney experience, including at a law firm and/or inhouse with experience representing companies in litigation, investigations, and/or regulatory matters
  • Experience developing and executing legal strategy
  • Experience collaborating and communicating with crossfunctional teams

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with regulatory investigations, engagements and risk mitigation
  • Experience working with internet and technology companies
  • Experience advising business clients on product issues or developing areas of the law
