As a BI Analyst, you will shape data utilization and interpretation for our clients.

Your responsibilities and projects will evolve over time, requiring you to thrive in ambiguous situations and adapt and innovate as demands change.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage new BI projects from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring timelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain existing BI tools and systems through feedback, ongoing analysis, and anomaly resolution.
  • Analyze datasets with large data models to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Participate directly on calls with clients to understand business needs while communicating approach and findings in a clear, concise manner.
  • Develop tools and pipelines to efficiently collect, clean, and prepare large volumes of raw data from various sources for analysis.
  • Use data quality best practices to ensure data integrity and thoroughness of results.
  • Utilize statistical methods to analyze business questions and extract actionable insights, not necessarily limited to what is present in BI
  • Statistical methods include, but are not limited to: Customer profiling, predictive modeling, trend analysis, and ANOVA
  • Summarize results into userfriendly presentations and or BI reports by translating highly technical approaches to those without a background in mathematics.
  • Design and build professional, immersive, intuitive and impactful dashboards and reports using a variety of data visualization tools.
  • Ensure that the BI ecosystem is highly scalable, responsive, and available.
  • Monitor reporting performance and implement necessary optimizations.
  • Develop and update technical documentation.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) in statistics, mathematics or other relevant quantitative field or equivalent experience. 13 years of BI analyst, data analyst experience is a must.
  • Superior analytic skills with the ability to distill data into relevant customer insights.
  • Experience with statistical language programming
  • Familiarity with SQL
  • Experience with data visualization tools; specifically Qlik and Power BI
  • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to QC production processes and ad hoc requests
  • Orientation towards problem solving
  • Assertive personality with a solid work ethic and initiative, requiring mínimal direction
  • High energy and drive, coupled with the resourcefulness and natural curiosity
  • Ability to understand the nature of the task rather than the words of the task, to best serve a client's objectives
  • Knowledge and/or applied experience in multivariate statistics including regression techniques, hypothesis testing, and design of experiments
  • Selfmotivated, with drive to complete assignments efficiently, exceed expectations and grow own career Selfstarter with strong planning, organization, and leadership skills, able to learn, adapt, improvise, and problemsolve in a rapidly changing environment.
