Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of Infor Cloud Suite products and related modules, with a particular focus on industries such as Food & Beverage, Distribution, or Manufacturing.

This role involves overseeing the entire implementation process, from initial planning to final deployment.

The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and will be responsible for managing project plans, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.

They will also provide regular updates to stakeholders and ensure compliance with project management best practices and methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing complex software implementation projects, strong industry knowledge, excellent communication and leadership skills, and proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the complete implementation process, including Discovery, Design, Testing, and Go-Live phases, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.

Coordinate and facilitate meetings, ensuring effective communication among stakeholders, distributing comprehensive meeting minutes, and proactively managing project risks.

Provide guidance and direction to project team members, fostering collaboration and ensuring adherence to project standards and best practices.

Prepare regular status reports, ensuring transparency on project progress, risks, and issues, and recommend alternative solutions to stakeholders when necessary.

Support Project Sponsors and facilitate monthly steering committee meetings, providing insights and recommendations to drive project success.

Collaborate closely with business directors/managers to address specific issues or requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Proactively monitor progress against the project plan, identifying potential roadblocks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize risks.

Manage documentation and approvals for change control processes related to scope changes, customizations, and specialized reporting, maintaining project integrity.

Develop and maintain project schedules, analyzing and validating schedules and costs to ensure project delivery within budget and timeline constraints.

Act as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and escalating when necessary.

Coordinate staffing requirements and decisions with the project team and leadership, ensuring the right resources are allocated for project success.

Collaborate with the client Executive Sponsor to ensure they are well-informed of project progress, risks, and significant issues, fostering a strong client relationship.

Co-lead the site Core Team meeting, developing the weekly agenda in consultation with the client Executive Sponsor to drive project alignment and progress.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

PMP certification is highly desirable.

8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in implementing or supporting Infor Cloud Suite products.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in Food & Beverage, Distribution, or Manufacturing industries is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
