- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources
- Travels extensively through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone. Telephone and e-mail interaction with customer to create or confirm appointments and follow-up
- Explains technical aspects of PET/Blowmolding machinery. Works closely with Technical Sales Support to expand market penetration in assigned territory
- Reviews quotes and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained
- Meets or exceeds revenue objectives set for the position
- Attends trade shows

The Sales Manager sells KHS products and services to PET and Blowmolding customers and supports the plastics sector of the business. We are seeking individuals to help grow the business with existing and new customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college; three years direct capital equipment sales experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time throughout the United States and Canada.
