Who We Are:

The Chester Children's Chorus seeks Junior Counselors for its 2024 Summer Learning Program.

Founded in 1994 by Dr.

John Alston, the Chester Children's Chorus (CCC) provides rigorous music education to Chester, Pennsylvania students (grades All CCC students are invited to attend the six-week CCC Summer Learning Program on the Swarthmore College campus.

Students participate in daily choral music instruction, dance, art, academic and physical education classes.

The opportunity:

Junior Counselor/

Food Service:
Help set up, prepare, and clean up after snacks and meals. When available, help with shopping trips.

Junior Counselor/

Sport activities: Help set up and assist with activities, assist at the pool.

Junior Counselor/

Music Assistant:
Help in rehearsal to promote proper stage etiquette and to assist in reading music.

Who you are:

Participate in precamp training session
Work with a small group or individual students in elementary level classes (grades 5)
Work onetoone with middle and high school students for 60 minutes per day
Keep daily records of individual student progress

What you bring:

Available positions are limited to current Chorus members who are rising 12th graders or graduating seniors.
