Job Summary:

As a Leasing Specialist, you play a crucial role in enhancing our community's leasing operations and retention strategies. You are central to maintaining optimal occupancy levels, maximizing revenue, and ensuring high levels of resident satisfaction.

Your activities will include handling various aspects of the leasing process, building lasting relationships with residents, and actively contributing to their decision to renew leases.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Monitor market trends and competitor actions to continuously refine our leasing strategies.
  • Employ property management software (OneSite) to track apartment availability, document leasing transactions, and manage data on current and prospective residents.
  • Uphold community standards by regularly inspecting leasing areas, coordinating necessary repairs with maintenance teams, and ensuring the leasing office is primed for daily operations.
  • Cultivate relationships with current and prospective residents through multiple communication channels to boost their satisfaction and influence their leasing or renewal decisions.
  • Support lease renewal processes by creating renewal notices, engaging with residents about renewals, and facilitating the timely completion of renewal forms.
  • Promptly and effectively handle resident queries and concerns, providing resolutions or escalating issues as necessary.
  • Generate and manage various financial and administrative reports.
  • Comply with all company policies and regulations, maintaining adherence to legal standards and safety protocols.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for operational enhancement and propose actionable solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with all sensitive data.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum one year of experience in leasing, sales, or marketing, with a proven record of strong customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for drafting legal documents, marketing community amenities, and addressing resident concerns.
  • Adept at sales techniques including lead generation, presentation, qualifying prospects, and closing deals.
  • Proficient with financial and word processing software, and capable of handling budgets and financial records.
  • Familiarity with internetbased marketing and sales tools such as Craigslist, Google, and other relevant platforms.

$ $21.00 per hour
