    Solutions Architect, ITS and GSI Sales Technology Team

    Job summary

    This is the right role for someone who has experience working for or with a Global Systems Integrator (GSI), technology consulting firm, or a Fortune 1000 company.

    If you are a problem solver with broad technical skills, and have the ability to drive technical conversations then this is the perfect role for you.

    Working with GSI customers is a team effort that will require influence and coordination with many stakeholders.

    You should be just as comfortable talking storage and networking with the VP of Infrastructure or continuous deployment with the DevOps team, TCO with the CFO, and cloud strategy with the CIO.

    The ideal candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

    As a Solutions Architect, you will partner with customers, sales, and several other teams to craft highly flexible, and resilient architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of services.

    In collaboration with sales, you will help drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers. As a trusted customer advocate, you will help organisations understand best practices around advanced-based solutions.

    You will seek out opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broaden the use of the platform across customer organizations.

    You will utilize your ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.

    Preferred location listed though the position may be located in any Indian metro city. Travel up to 30%.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Build deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for their most critical workloads that support their digital transformation and journey to the cloud
    • Support achievement of revenue objectives through the adoption and migration of applications, software, and services onto the platform in partnership with the sales team
    • Educate customers on the value proposition of cloud and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment
    • Contribute to internal and customer-facing publications such as white-papers and blogs as a means of scaling your knowledge
    • Act as a liaison between customers, engineering teams, and support to address customer needs

    About the team

    You will work with a world class team of technologists enabling our customers to make the best of AWS cloud.

    We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

    Bengaluru, KA, IND

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
    • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
    • Experience communicating across technical and nontechnical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients and in specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5+ years of apps/infrastructure architecture, database architecture and app modernization
    • Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals
    • Experience working with ITS or GSI organizations or similar, supporting their Sales/end customers
