Your tasks include:

  • You are the main contact person for the residents and build a positive and reliable relationship with them
  • You accompany new residents during their movein and adjustment period
  • Daily activities such as games, singing and music, creative activities, and outdoor activities
  • Biographical work; accompanying residents to appointments with doctors and therapists
  • Supervision and motivation of your team

Requirements:

  • Basic course "additional care assistant" with 100 hours, advanced course with 60 hours
  • Care internship in a nursing home with 100 hours
  • Basic knowledge of dementia and typical agerelated diseases
  • Equanimity and a positive attitude towards older people
  • Calmness in dealing with behavioral peculiarities
  • Communication skills and empathy
