If so, then the Penn State College of Earth and Mineral Sciences has a position for you We're seeking a full-time PHP Developer (Applications Developer - Supervisor) with experience in Drupal, MySQL, jQuery, Laravel, Git, and Docker. Additional experience writing complex SQL queries, LTI, and higher education information systems is a plus.
This individual will be required to develop, document, and test new and existing software applications, participate in code reviews, maintain database-driven websites, and answer technical questions as needed. Typical work duties for this level of position include:
This position is either fully remote or located at the University Park campus and will be appointed to the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences Dean's Office.
Education and Experience:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. We are looking for someone who can work independently as well as in a collaborative, team-based environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are essential. This is a regular appointment.
