Description
Avoca at the Department of Mathematics is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill a professorship position as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate should have a strong international research profile and a proven track record in the field of probability theory and/or mathematical statistics.
The candidate's research should also demonstrate potential for collaboration with other departments at the University of Tübingen.
In addition to research, the successful candidate will play a significant role in teaching undergraduate and graduate programs in mathematics and education.
Therefore, the candidate should possess a broad knowledge of probability and mathematical statistics and be able to effectively teach these subjects.
The candidate is also expected to actively seek external funding and participate in joint projects with the Department of Mathematics and other related areas of the university.
Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent degree, as well as postdoctoral qualifications and teaching experience equivalent to the requirements of a full professorship.
