Responsibilities

  • Strengthening our activities with a focus on chromatographic and spectroscopic investigations of complex mixtures
  • Independent analytical support of projects in close collaboration with working groups in research, development, and application technology
  • Independent planning, execution, and release of analytical techniques with high specialized knowledge
  • Development of analytical approaches to solve questions from our clients in the entire field of analytics
  • Independent operation of IT systems for controlling analytical equipment and evaluation of complex analysis data
  • Plausibility considerations, error analysis
  • Independent presentation and representation of analysis results to customers, also in English

Requirements

  • Successfully completed chemistry/chemical engineering studies (Bachelor or Master), several years of professional experience in the relevant field
  • In-depth experience with analytical methods, preferably in the field of chromatography and spectroscopy, with a particular focus on mass spectrometry
  • Comprehensive knowledge in analytics, including method development, evaluation, equipment, analytics software, and statistics
  • Technical understanding of measuring devices and IT networks desirable
  • Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
  • Independent, goal-oriented work style, creative and interdisciplinary thinking
