Kahler Hospitality Group is seeking a passionate and creative Sous Chef to support ongoing operations.
+Responsibilities
- Direct the day-to-day operations of all areas of the kitchen including outlets, banquets, and stewarding.
- Select, train and supervise kitchen staff in the proper preparation of menu items.
Qualifications
- Able to multitask with thorough knowledge of Food & Beverage outlet operations including foods, beverages supervisory aspects service techniques guest interaction strong verbal written communication skills strong customer service skills required CPR certification preferred High School Diploma required College Degree in Culinary or Food Sciences preferred 3 years previous food beverage experience preferably in a hotel required plus 1 year as sous chef or assistant manager in high volume restaurants hotels resorts Key qualifications include flexibility teamwork ability ability manage multiple priorities excellent communication interpersonal planning problem-solving analytical reasoning leadership abilities team player positive attitude friendly demeanor professional appearance neat clean uniform maintained during working hours punctual reliable regular attendance good time management meeting deadlines quality results work efficiently maintain confidentiality handle confidential information appropriately perform tasks accurately efficiently consistently meet productivity standards adhere safety security policies procedures practices promote safe work environment our company strives provide workplace free from hazards risks adverse health effects strive continually improve safety environmental performance achieve excellence through innovation operational efficiency sustainability.
